Adeyemi, who gave the advice while delivering a lecture at the annual iftar/lecture of Obafemi Awolowo University Muslim Graduates' Association (UNIFEMGA), Abuja chapter in a lecture entitled: `` My House in Al-Janah'', reminded Muslims that any single act done in the month of Ramadan, Allah had promised to reward in multiple of 700.
Apparently calling on the Muslim graduates to contribute towards the completion of the 30-year old OAU Central Mosque edifice in ile- Ife, Osun State under construction, he said any amount contributed during fasting month of Ramadan would be handsomely rewarded by Allah.
“If Allah give you wealth, it is better you spend it and expect reward from Allah in this life and hereafter. When you refuse to give out from what Allah has given, it is like breathing in without breathing out, which can cause death.
“Prophet Muhammad said that when a man dies, everything dies with him except the knowledge he shared, righteous children that prays for him and Sadaqat (money) he gives while on earth,” he said.
Adeyemi implored Muslims to assist the less privilege in the society by giving part of what Allah has given to them.
