Leading mobile phone manufacturer, Nokia, has unveiled in Nigeria its most anticipated Windows Phone 8 devices, the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Nokia Lumia 820, widely regarded as the world’s most innovative smartphones.

Renowned journalist, author and host of popular, Fareed Zakaria’s GPS on CNN, Dr. Fareed Zakaria, at the 2012 Airtel Night of Influence, exhorted Nigerian leaders to take charge of the country’s future by investing heavily in the education sector in order to provide quality foundation  for Nigerian children.

MINISTER of Communica-tion Technology, Mrs Omobola Johnson, has disclosed that despite the fact that the ICT sector contributed 5.83 per cent to the country’s GDP and therefore making it the fourth highest contributor to GDP, it is still worrisome that domestic value added or what is now called local content in the ICT industry is sub-optimal.
